What could be more idyllic than floating down the most beautiful stretch of the River Thames, aboard a beautifully restored 100 year old wooden River boat, enjoying the delights of Cliveden's famous Afternoon Tea??
Ken our skipper has been getting the boats ready over the Winter months and from April they will be back in the Water and available to hire on an hourly basis or for the day.
We can accommodate up to 12 guests, so ideal for a couple or group of friends and family.
We serve afternoon tea on board in a beautifully presented Hamper, with all your favourites, and of course champagne is available if you wish to add a bit of fizz to the occasion.

Our fine three tiered selection includes a variety of finger sandwiches, warm scones with home-made jams and clotted cream, a selection of miniature cakes, pastries and delicacies and even our renowned Cliveden fruit cake.
There is also a wide selection of teas, including our very own Cliveden blend.
Afterwards we urge you to take a stroll around the National Trust gardens and parklands to make it a truly memorable day. Non-residents are welcome.

There are afternoon tea experiences and then there is this...
A true indulgent treat, the Platinum tea has been billed as one of the world's most expensive afternoon teas with truly special ingredients.
Not for the faint hearted and presented by Executive Head Chef Carlos Martinez you can expect a lavish spread that includes some of the world's most expensive ingredients and side dishes.
Priced at £550.00 per couple, it includes:
- White truffles at a £2,500 per kilogram, Beluga Caviar at a staggering £4,000 per kilogram
- Da Hong Pao Tea, which is harvested from one thousand year old plants and is so rare that it costs over £2,000 per kilogram.
- The afternoon tea is washed down by a glass of Dom Perignon Rose, dubbed the King of Champagnes'.
- The Platinum Tea experience also comes with 'Cliveden House Chocolate Cake with Gold Leaf' paired with Kopi Luwak, the world's most expensive coffee.
- Another most expensive snack of the menu is the hotel's legendary Platinum Club Sandwich priced at £100 which will appear in a mini canapé version.
