3 STARS, 3 CITIES FOR BRITISH FOOD FORTNIGHT Posted on 24/08/2009
3 Stars, 3 Cities is an exceptional experience awaiting Harvey Nichols diners in London, Leeds and Bristol during British Food Fortnight this September. For one week only, three von Essen head chefs from one the UK’s finest collection of hotels, will be moving their Michelin starred cuisine from the country into the city via the Harvey Nichols kitchens. Each of these top three chefs will serve a variety of menus in collaboration with the Harvey Nichols chefs.
Chris Horridge, Executive Head Chef at Cliveden will work alongside the Bristol stores Head Chef Louise McCrimmon to give Harvey Nichols dinners the unique opportunity to sample the delights of his award winning cuisine at this prestigious Harvey Nichols store. His colleagues Mark Teasdale from Sharrow Bay and Kenny Atkinson from Seaham Hall will takeover the Knightsbridge and Leeds stores respectively.
Executive Head Chef Chris has a pioneering and unique style of cookery which focuses on the importance of particular nutrients in foods - his dishes are often sugar, dairy and gluten-free. He has spent years working together with University Scientists and Nutritionists to perfect his recipes and is a founding member of The Nutrition Research Group (NRG).
This event offers the unique chance to experience Chris’s fine dining menus in the heart of Bristol with a set lunch, which will run next to Second Floor Head Chef Louise McCrimmon's à la carte menus. In the evening, Chris and Louise will collaborate to produce a six course tasting menu.
A Cliveden lunch menu will be available on Wednesday 30 September and Thursday 1 October (£15 for two courses and £18 for three), whilst a dinner tasting menu will be available (£45 per head) on Tuesday 29th September through to Thursday 1st October.
