Afternoon tea is increasingly popular at Cliveden, with guests experiencing the unique pleasures of the hotel including our excellent standards of warm and personal service, valet-parking, afternoon tea in the House, and a stroll around the National Trust gardens. Many of our guests return to dine in one of our renowned restaurants or to stay once they have discovered the warm hospitality at Cliveden. In March 2009 Cliveden was awarded The Tea Guild award of excellence for the second consecutive year. The award is in recognition of Cliveden’s commitment in achieving the very highest standards in the service of tea and complimentary foods.
Our fine three tiered selection includes a variety of finger sandwiches, warm scones with home-made jams and clotted cream, a selection of miniature cakes, pastries and delicacies and even our renowned Cliveden fruit cake. There is also a wide selection of teas, including our very own Cliveden blend, or for true decadence, why not enjoy a glass of our house champagne?
Afterwards guests are urged to take a stroll around the National Trust gardens and parklands to make it a truly memorable day.
