Christmas at Cliveden 2010
Two night packages from £452 per person, per night
Christmas Eve - Friday, 24th December 2010
On arrival, you are personally greeted by a footman and shown to your beautifully appointed room. Once you have settled in, you will be welcomed with traditional Afternoon Tea, served to piano accompaniment in The Great Hall. During the early evening, meet new friends and old during a Champagne and canapé reception followed by a five course gourmet dinner with wines chosen especially for the occasion by the Head Sommelier. (Dress code: black tie). As midnight approaches, you are invited to attend Midnight Mass at the local parish Church of St Nicolas in nearby Taplow, returning to the House for hot chocolate and warm mince pies before retiring.
Christmas Day - Saturday, 25th December 2010
Wake up and discover the surprise presents that have been delivered, as if by magic, during the night. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before Father Christmas arrives to the delight of the younger guests. Midday is marked with a Champagne reception followed by a traditional five course Christmas lunch; the highlight of the day. (Dress code: jacket and tie). After lunch, take a stroll across the Parterre and discover the magnificent National Trust grounds or gather around the fire to play cards and board games. In the evening, a buffet supper will be served in the Terrace Dining Room. (Dress code: jacket and tie).
Boxing Day - Sunday, 26th December 2010
After a hearty English breakfast, you may wish to join the annual Cliveden treasure hunt that takes place in the National Trust grounds. Then, having worked up an appetite, a delicious three course traditional family lunch will be served. (Dress code: smart casual). The afternoon is then yours . . . a trip to the pantomime, a day at the Boxing Day race meeting at Kempton or relaxing in The Pavilion Spa with its heated pools and treatment rooms. In the evening, complete your Christmas at Cliveden with a farewell three course dinner dance with wines, followed by dancing late into the night with our live band. (Dress code: black tie).

Dogs - Dogs are always welcome at Cliveden and the staff pride themselves on ensuring all guests experience the finest of experiences during their stay – including their four-legged friends. Dog rates are available on request.

Terms and Conditions
To reserve - A non-refundable deposit of 50% per person is required at the time of reservation. Remaining balances must be received by 1st December 2010. We regret that with the exception of Spring Cottage, specific rooms cannot be guaranteed.

New Years at Cliveden 2010

A warm welcome greets you with Afternoon Tea served to piano accompaniment in The Great Hall. During the early evening, enjoy a fascinating wine tasting with the knowledgeable Head Sommelier, followed by a three course dinner in the Terrace Dining Room. (Dress code: jacket and tie).
New Year’s Eve - Friday, 31st December 2010
Full English breakfast is followed by a day of leisure. Join the National Trust’s guided tour of the House followed by full Afternoon Tea or visit The Pavilion Spa for some pampering. During early evening, join fellow guests and non-residents for a Champagne and canapé reception followed by a four course gourmet dinner with wines chosen by the Head Sommelier. After dinner, the revelry continues with dancing to a live band and a flutter on the Black Jack and Roulette tables. New Year is seen in with a traditional Scottish piper playing Auld Lang Syne, followed by a late supper for truly hardy party-goers! (Dress code: black tie).
New Year’s Day - Saturday, 1st January 2011
Awake and enjoy a leisurely traditional English breakfast before you depart. You may wish to stay for the New Year’s Day Champagne Jazz Lunch or extend your stay with a special rate of £210 plus VAT per room, per night inclusive of English breakfast
